Inspection Train
The inspection train produced by PT INKA (Persero) is a specialized train equipped with various advanced tools to conduct thorough inspections of railway conditions. Utilizing ultrasonic sensors, radar, and high-resolution cameras, this train is capable of detecting various types of damage to tracks, track sleepers, and other track infrastructure. The data obtained from the inspections is then processed by a computer to generate accurate and comprehensive reports.
This inspection train is designed to reach a maximum speed of 120 km/h with an operational speed of 100 km/h. Its track gauge is 1,067 mm, the carbody length is 20,000 mm, and the width is 2,990 mm. The empty weight of the train is 46,000 kg. It uses a diesel engine and hydro-mechanical transmission, making it ideal for efficient railway inspections.
